Here are a few of the million pictures i took of Christmas morning. Mason was way to into what he was doing to look up at the camera. We had a awesome Christmas which consisted of a huge breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes with whip topping and bacon. The rest of the day we decided to just hang out as a family in are jam jams. I could not have asked for a better day!

These little feet have learned to walk,

And now they've learned to run...

These little feet just love to dance,

They climb and have some fun...

These little feet don't want to rest,

They only want to play...

These little feet are busy feet,

They're on the go all day...

The day before Christmas we went for a drive around Killeen to check out the area. We ended up stopping at a park. Mason had a total blast running around playing. Here are a few of the pictures.

We have to get bundled up just to check the mail. It is 30 degress out! We are so not use to this weather, especially the wind.

Yesterday Mike was told he will be stationed in Camp Tallil during his time in Iraq. Camp tallil Airfield is located about 310 kilometers southeast of Baghdad. It is complete desert everything is covered in sand. Tallil was the earliest city in the world and because of this it is one of the most famous archeological sites. While Mike is there i am sure he will be extrememly hot they say that in the shade it is over 120 degrees. Mike leaves sometime in April but there set arival date to be in Tallil is May 5th. I know things in Iraq are getting better but while Mike is gone please keep him in your thoughts and prays!

I finally got a new camera so here are a few pictures of Mason

I am a typical stay at home mom. I do my best to stay organized and keep Mike and Mason happy. There seems to be a lot going on right now in my life but I know we are still tremendously blessed. It has been hard leaving family and friends during this relocation to Texas. I try my best to stay positive and support my husbands career in the United States Army. We are staying extremely busy preparing for our first Christmas with Mason. This time of year has always been a favorite of mine but it just seems to get better now that we have our little guy here.

Mike is doing great and working extra hard. He is a chemical specialist in the United States Army. He has been placed in the 1st Cavalry Aviation Unit. During are move he found out that he will be leaving for Iraq sometime in April. Even though he is sad to leave he is being a rock for our family. He's staying positive and is ready to go serve his time and get a good experience out of the whole thing. During his off time he would most likely want to be golfing but lately it has just been work and every free second he spends time hanging out and entertaining Mason. He is an amazing father and husband!
"The Army Wife Prayer"

Dear Lord,
Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between duty and his love for me. Give me understanding that I may know, when duty calls him he must go. Give me a task to do each day, to fill the time when he's away. When he's in a foreign land, keep him safe in your loving hand. And when duty is in the field, please protect him and be his shield. And when deployment is so long, please stay with me and keep me strong. Amen.
Life is not measured by the number of Breaths we take, but by the Moments that take our breath away.

Mason

All I can say is time truly goes by way to fast. Mason is already nearing the age of one. I can't believe my baby is becoming a big boy! He is an extremely happy typical boy. He loves playing with cars and making all the sounds affects to go with it. He has always been an extremely fast learner and was sitting up at four months, crawling by six months and he took his first steps at nine and a half months and now is loving the fact that he can run all over the place! He is a total jabber jaw just like me. He can only say the basics like Ma Ma, Da Da, Ba Ba. But still most of the time he just blabbers a whole a conversation of who knows what but i swear its the cutest thing ever because he truly thinks you know exactly what he is saying. Mason is by far one of the greatest blessing in our life. He brings so much joy and happiness to our household. I look forward to all the fun memories that are to come!
